An international education specialist with over 15 years of experience spanning humanitarian, public, and academic sectors. As founder of Erin Buisse Consulting, she partners with global organizations to co-design inclusive education strategies, manage projects, and build partnerships—especially for marginalized communities. Her expertise includes education in emergencies, refugee access to higher education, disaster risk reduction, and educational innovation.
Erin has led initiatives for UNHCR in Lebanon, coordinated the Connected Learning in Crisis Consortium, and delivered training from refugee camps to UNESCO and top universities. She holds a Master’s in International Education Policy from Harvard and a PhD focused on refugee education. Her teaching is collaborative, grounded in real-world problem-solving, and rooted in equity and evidence.
