Know your Mentors
Harvard Business and Leadership Bootcamp is led by Harvard students who are leaders in their own communities. With tremendous enthusiasm for both teaching and learning, the teaching team constantly learns from the students, adapts to their interests and needs, and builds lasting relationships that continue after the program through formal and informal mentorship opportunities.

Charlie Meyer is a Sophomore from Buffalo, New York concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Energy and the Environment. At Harvard, Charlie is involved with Harvard Student Agencies, the Harvard Financial Analysts Club, the Harvard International Review (Business Board), and the Harvard Sports Analysis Collective. Charlie is also currently working on a start-up in the sports business space. In his free time, Charlie enjoys watching sports and traveling with his family.

Ty Fein is a Sophomore from Concord, Massachusetts concentrating in Economics. At Harvard, Ty is involved with Harvard Student Agencies and is a quarterback for the Varsity Football team. Ty has a love for all things business and has a strong passion for sharing his knowledge with others. In his free time, Ty enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family.

Christopher is a senior at Harvard College studying Economics and Computer Science. He has taught corporate finance and sports economics to undergraduates and will join Bain & Company as a management consultant in New York City after graduation. Before Harvard, he worked on a food truck serving crab cakes across the Baltimore area, sparking his passion for business and entrepreneurship. That experience led him to Harvard Student Agencies, where he later served as President, overseeing the world’s largest student-run company. In his free time, Christopher plays on the club lacrosse team and leads campus tours with the Crimson Key Society.

Sean is a rising sophomore at Harvard College pursuing a double concentration in Economics and Government. On campus, Sean is actively involved with the Harvard International Relations Council, Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative, and the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting on Business and the Environment and is currently undergoing training to provide pro-bono legal aid with Harvard PBHA’s Small Claims Advisory Service. Sean aims to discover opportunities for social good at the intersection of business and technology and possesses interests in corporate social responsibility, with a focus on environmental, social and governance. Outside of classes, he can be found power napping in the library, skateboarding at the Cambridge Commons, or procrastinating work at Brain Break.

What can I expect on the day of the presentation?
On the final day, you and your team will take part in a Shark Tank-style business pitch competition. You’ll work on developing a business plan from ideation to execution and present it to a panel of prospective investors. If location restrictions allow, we will also invite parents to be part of this experience.

Once you identify a business need and idea, you will collaborate with your team to create a structured business plan. This includes:
